The Curse of Blackwood Castle

Penny, Fawkes, and Li are the hosts of one of the internet’s most popular up-and-coming paranormal investigation shows, Forever Ghostly. Filming their latest season has brought them to all kinds of haunted locales around the country, and for their season finale, they are tackling their biggest obstacle yet - the extremely haunted and very terrifying, Blackwood Castle.

Nestled in the heart of what is known as The Black Wood, Blackwood Castle sits at the base of Black Mountain. There are many legends and spooky tales about the castle within the nearby town of New Haven, ranging from your typical ‘haunted by the souls of the massacred family who built the castle’ to ‘cursed by an evil witch upon its creation’ to ‘the site of many demonic summoning rituals by cultists’ to even ‘might be home to a vampire or a werewolf - or both’. 

Join the three young investigators on their investigation of Blackwood Castle in this thrilling, text-based adventure. Interview locals, choose where your cameras will go, and bunker down for your 12 hour lockdown inside the Castle. Can you keep the three alive until sunrise? Or will you meet a darker fate?

This was a demo that I wrote for a class project that I thought other people might enjoy. It's 30,000 words total, with 3 playable characters, made with Twine.
